My name is Dylan Vargas.
I'm an editor, designer, and digital artist from North Texas.

This portfolio displays both Design and Visuals,

Over the past ten years, graphic design and motion design became a way to create or construct using the bare minimum, while film and editing became a form of deconstructing and constraining the many parts of a larger scene.

My work demonstrates the parallels and contradictions between the process and the final result of creating design and visuals.

From the initial conversation with a client, the process of designing is constraining many concepts into one simple product that makes all those concepts recognizable. From pre-production to post, the process of creating visuals and assets for film is utilizing many simple components to convey a larger concept.
